Light Sprite
Did You Know: When Fairies get wet
they can't fly?
Pink Light Sprite is a very sweet fairy but
one day when it began raining without any warning, Pink
Light was caught off guard. Before she could make it
to shelter her wings got wet, and wet wings do not have the
ability for flight.
Pink Light fell to the ground
where she not only had to wait for the rain to stop but she
also had to wait to dry out before she could fly away.
As she sat there on that pretty pink flower
waiting, Hamilton Troll walked up. Hamilton had never
seen anyone so beautiful in all
his life. She sparkled like
moon beams and was as kind as could be.
The two of them sat there and talked, she
helped Hamilton with a problem he had been having and when
she was all dry, she flew away. It was the best day of
Hamilton's life.

But
before she took off, he said “What do I do,
When the sky
falls again if I’m here without you?”
She said “Time
will continue and the rain will fall near
But Hamilton,
you now know there’s nothing to fear.
The earth will
still shake and tremble and groan
And the wind
will sweep by and whistle and moan,
But I will be
with you in dreamland, my tot,
I never shall
leave you when you’re caught up in thought.
And when you
are frightened think of me in the dew
And remember
my friend that I do love you.” |

Pink
Light Sprite will always be around, watching
over Hamilton Troll and his friends. However,
Pink light Sprite adds:
"But when
I'm in flight, I fly faster than light"
So she
can only be found when she's not flying.
